Triple Get: Get Going
This is the most exciting part of the series. We have prepared our lives by getting up, we have equipped ouselves by getting ready and now we must actually get going for God.
1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
Now, first of all, I want you to answer these questions for yourselves:
- Why do we have hope?
- Why is it worthwhile to serve the Lord?
- Do miracles still happen?
- Is the Bible the truth?
These are the type of questions I believe every Christian should be able to answer as a necessity (there are obviously a lot more, but these are the type of questions)
2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Then there are a variation of questions that people can ask you that does not necessarily have a direct answer and therefore you need the relationship with the Holy Spirit in order to give you the discernment to answer with Godly wisdom, because these questions usually entail sensitive feelings. these questions include the following as examples:
- Why did bad things happen to me?
- Why did my parents have to die?
- Why did my house burn down?
- Why am I lonely?
When pondering upon questions like this the first thing that must be realized is that you can never try to answer out of your own knowledge, because it is inexperienced and insufficient in comparison to the wisdom provided by God.
1 Corinthians 1:17
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
Know from what you got up! (Get Up)
Know how you made it right and what your goal is! (Get Ready)
Know to where you are going and DO IT! (Get Going)
Never underestimate the story of your life that needs to be told. Do not allow the devil to make it seem inferior in your eyes, because it is a story of boundless grace shown by an Almighty Saviour towards an undeserving sinner, reconciled with God in love. Your story of how you cam to Christ will change lives.
It is crucial to never get the attitude that going on an outreach or evangelizing is a necessary activity that has to be done, because it is suppose to be an integral part of our daily lives.
He who does not serve God where he is, would not serve Him anywhere else.

Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Matthew 9:37-38
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
If there is one thing that I want you to take from this series is the fact that you are that labourer needed for the harvest. Get Going.
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Be bold, conform to the Word of God and make a difference!
