Journal Entry: New Creature in Christ – I have Victory

Heavenly Father, please Help me let go of the influences of the world. Lord help me to focus on You. I feel that there’s a constant war brewing, fighting for my attention. Lord, keep me away from the enemy’s hands. Remove me from all distractions, Lord God, please keep me from quenching the Holy Spirit, Father for I just want to do Your will and live according to Your ways.

Lord limit the power this flesh has over me, for this flesh is weak to the devices of the world. Lord, help me live in accordance to Your Spirit. I’ve noticed that at times my health, school, family, friends… so many things, so many things seem to try and distract me from You Lord. No! I can’t allow that to take place any further Lord, please intervene.

Lord I know that there is power in Your name, and I believe it, oh I believe it with all my being. I just want to live solely for You, to learn Your ways, and to lead others to You, oh Heavenly Father.

You are just so great, Lord, so powerful, so mighty, and yet so gentle, so loving, so patient, and so merciful. You are righteous in all Your ways Lord! I just never want my gaze to ever wander from You Lord.

Father, I don’t care what this world tries to throw at me, I am done giving it power over me. I am done living as if I don’t serve a mighty God. Lord, I leave it all at Your feet, I give it all to You. My hope lies solely on You Lord. You are my provider, You are my strength. I shall fear nothing, for You are with me. My weaknesses are not Your weaknesses, thank You for reminding me that. Equip me for war Lord, for my enemies are everywhere, this world tries to swallow me whole. And even though we fight through one battle to another, Lord, we Your children know that You have already won, and that brings us peace and joy through all the tribulations we face.

Thank You, oh wonderful Father, for Your perfect Love has conquered all evil!
Thank You! You are truly an awesome God!
